This Hawrani-style jacket was purchased in Damascus. Hand stitched from wool and decorated with hand-applied couching, the lining is a second face of wool in contrasting color that makes this beautiful garment doubly warm.

The sleeves are cut slightly short so the brightly embroidered cuffs of cotton dress will show. Seams are overlaid with contrasting braid.
