Syrian artist Ziad Zokari's drawings are an invaluable record of Syrian textile and folklore.

This drawing is marked 'Folkloric clothes of the Mohafaza of the village of Zaidal (near Homs). It shows the tie-dyed raw silk thob worn with a heavily embroidered coat and a homsiyye silk headscarf.
